　　湖南師范大學(xué)英語專業(yè)畢業(yè)，從教10年，擁有多年國際學(xué)校英語教學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)，在教學(xué)上融合了中西方教學(xué)的優(yōu)勢(shì)和特點(diǎn)，擅于發(fā)現(xiàn)學(xué)生的優(yōu)點(diǎn)，啟發(fā)學(xué)生的思維。課堂氛圍生動(dòng)活潑，教學(xué)方法靈活多變且幽默風(fēng)趣，深受學(xué)生喜愛，教學(xué)成果也得到家長的一致認(rèn)可。

　　My name is Nickolas Hook. I am an American from San Diego, California. I have spent the last 10 years within China teaching ESL. My undergrad major is in English, and I did my graduate work in TESOL. Of the 10 years that I have spent in China, 7 of them have been spent teaching primary level students. I enjoy teaching these students because they are eager to learn, and I am able to channel their boundless energy into more productive tasks by singing, dancing, and creating various activities in English to accomplish. I feel that the foundation is the most important factor in learning any language. I do my best to create not only a solid foundation for my students to start their English journey, but also to cement their desire to continue learning English. I am encouraged to see the progress my students make everyday in both aspects.

　　Nick和周艷老師帶來的《colors》，教學(xué)模式真正做到了從以教師為中心向以學(xué)生為中心的轉(zhuǎn)變，全方位關(guān)注每一個(gè)孩子，通過豐富的肢體動(dòng)作或表情，打造了一堂氣氛活躍，輕松有趣的英語課。

　　教學(xué)主要內(nèi)容是學(xué)習(xí)一些有關(guān)顏色的單詞，詞匯部分以實(shí)物直觀教學(xué)為主，通過 Action show，Hiding and seeking ，Magic bottles等方式讓孩子在具體的情境中反復(fù)練習(xí)單詞的讀音體味學(xué)習(xí)的樂，較后，通過talk show的形式，讓孩子在互動(dòng)的語境中靈活運(yùn)用所學(xué)句型。
