　　Dear students, parents and SLS Community members,

　　親愛的學(xué)生們、家長們和SLS社區(qū)成員們:

　　My name is Lynn Wong, the new Principal of SLS. I am delighted to join SLS community and to be leading SLS from this academic year to co-construct our community with every one of you.

　　大家好! 我是三亞外國語學(xué)校新任校長汪琳女士，非常高興能夠加入三亞外國語學(xué)校大家庭并從新的學(xué)年開始與大家一起共建SLS社區(qū)。

　　One of my favorite education theories is the “constructivist approach” where everyone is encouraged to contribute their part to make meaning for themselves and for the community through active engagement. I look forward to working with the dynamic team of our teachers to construct new meaning with students, parents and all community members in SLS.

　　“建構(gòu)主義”是我較熱愛的教育理論之一，構(gòu)建主義鼓勵(lì)每一位成員通過積極的參與來貢獻(xiàn)自己的力量為自己和社區(qū)創(chuàng)造意義。我期待與我們積極的教師團(tuán)隊(duì)、學(xué)生、家長及SLS社區(qū)所有成員們一起構(gòu)建新的意義!

　　New academic year is coming, the leadership team at SLS is working on an overall improvement plan to enrich and enhance teaching and learning standards to improve better learning experiences and outcomes for all students and their individual need.

　　新的學(xué)年即將到來，三亞外國語學(xué)校的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)團(tuán)隊(duì)在暑假期間一直在積極地制定新學(xué)年的全面優(yōu)化方案，全面提高教學(xué)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)和要求來全面提規(guī)劃生的學(xué)習(xí)質(zhì)量及成果并更好地滿足每一位學(xué)生的個(gè)性化需求。

　　The past achievements have laid foundation for the new academic year, SLS leadership team, staff, students, parents and community members will unite together with trust, faith and support to build SLS Better Education for our students to their future!

　　過去的成就為新的學(xué)年打下基礎(chǔ)，SLS領(lǐng)導(dǎo)團(tuán)隊(duì)、全體教職員工、學(xué)生、家長及社區(qū)的成員們將團(tuán)結(jié)一心，在大家的信任和支持下，在新的學(xué)年共建SLS更好的教育為我們學(xué)生的未來!

　　We are confident and ready to step into the new stage in teaching and learning improvements at SLS. We offer broad and balanced curriculum system, more rigorous and higher curriculum teaching standards and requirements are in progress.

　　我們已準(zhǔn)備好邁進(jìn)教與學(xué)發(fā)展的新階段，我們提供廣泛而均衡的課程體系，更加嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)和更高要求的課程及教學(xué)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)已在推進(jìn)之中。

　　We are student-centered school by providing the global leading inquiry-based, concept-driven, collaborative, differentiated approaches to teaching and learning to develop students’ academic performance and their learning skills, research, social, thinking, self-management and communication skills. Multiple assessment methods will be adopted to provide multi-perspective learning outcome feedback. We foster balanced life-long learners.

　　我們以“學(xué)生”為中心， 采用全球較的基于探究、概念驅(qū)動(dòng)、協(xié)作式、差異化的教學(xué)方式來發(fā)展學(xué)生的學(xué)術(shù)水平和培養(yǎng)他們的學(xué)習(xí)、研究、社交、思考、自我管理及溝通技能等。我們采用多元的評估方式來提供多維度的學(xué)習(xí)成果反饋，我們培養(yǎng)全面發(fā)展的終生學(xué)習(xí)者。

　　We nurture global citizens to make a difference in the world by teaching under the local and global context and encourage students’ participation in local and global communities action services to contribute their part to the world.

　　三亞外國語學(xué)校和海南三亞外籍人員子女學(xué)校共享一個(gè)校區(qū)，師資力量雄厚，可同時(shí)招收幼、小、初、高的中外籍學(xué)生。學(xué)校坐落在風(fēng)景秀麗的鹿回頭半山半島風(fēng)景區(qū)，空氣四季清新，冬天實(shí)為仙境，夏季則無酷暑。
