自從來到上海諾科學(xué)校，我一直在努力參加各種課外活動(dòng)。通過這些經(jīng)歷，我有機(jī)會(huì)去探索一系列的興趣，從而釋放我從未意識(shí)到的激情。

　　I have been trying to participate in a variety of extracurricular activities since I came to this school.Through these experiences, I got the opportunity to explore a range of interests and unlock passions I never knew I possessed.

　　似乎，我總是努力的想要跳出自己的舒適區(qū)。然而，直到去年我才參加了演講比賽。

　　Seemingly, I always make efforts to jump out of my comfort zone. However, I didn't take part in a speech contest until last year. Like thing was that I was not good at speaking fluently.

　　就像我不善言辭一樣。因?yàn)槲液ε掳炎约旱南敕ü诒?，所以我一定?huì)不斷地扭曲自己的舌頭。

　　It was precisely because I was fearful of presenting my idea in public and I would definitely twist my tongue unceasingly.

　　在我11年級(jí)的時(shí)候，發(fā)表公開演講的絕好機(jī)會(huì)落在了我身上。

　　The golden opportunity of delivering a public speech fell on me when I was in Grade 11.

　　我猶豫不決，不確定是否應(yīng)該在學(xué)校演講比賽中第一次瞥見。

　　I was indecisive and uncertain about whether I should make a first glimpse in the school speech contest.

　　演講的主題與環(huán)境有關(guān)。由于我是一個(gè)對(duì)環(huán)境調(diào)查有著強(qiáng)烈熱情的人，所以這個(gè)話題適合我。

　　The topic of the speech was related to the environment.Since I was a person who had intense enthusiasm toward the investigation of the environment, this topic was absolutely a good fit for me.

　　較終，拋開所有的顧慮，我決定在演講比賽中開始我的初步嘗試。

　　Eventually, throwing out all of the considerations, I decided to give my initial attempt in the speech contest.

　　當(dāng)我正構(gòu)思我的演講時(shí)，我突然感到一種強(qiáng)烈的情感和表達(dá)的欲望。也許這就是演講的本質(zhì)，這意味著每個(gè)人都堅(jiān)定地表達(dá)了自己的想法。

　　While I was conceiving my speech, I suddenly felt a strong emotion and desire to convey. Maybe this was the essence of giving a speech, which meant everyone just delivered your idea with great determination.

　　我觀察到校園浪費(fèi)水的問題已經(jīng)持續(xù)了很長一段時(shí)間，所以演講比賽為我呼吁全校合理用水提供了一個(gè)平臺(tái)。

　　I had observed the problem of wasting water on campus for a long time so the speech contest served as a platform for me to appeal to the whole school for rational use of water.

　　在草案完成后，我經(jīng)常和我的導(dǎo)師溝通并逐步完善它。就這樣，我開始發(fā)現(xiàn)自己已經(jīng)沉迷于演講中了，因?yàn)樗訌?qiáng)了我的信心，讓我提高了對(duì)環(huán)境科學(xué)的認(rèn)知。較終，我獲得了第三名，并得到了朋友們的稱贊。

　　After completing the draft, I talked with my advisor frequently to perfect it.I found myself addicted to my speech because it boosted my confidence and allowed me to improve upon the knowledge of environmental science.Ultimately, I won the third place and received many compliments from my friends.

　　雖然獎(jiǎng)品不大，但它帶給了我很多啟發(fā)。現(xiàn)在看來，公開演講也沒有以前認(rèn)為的那么可怕了。

　　Although the prize was not big, it inspired me so much. Giving a speech in public was no longer as terrifying as before.

　　相反，它變得愉快而有意義。后來，我還獲得了全國演講和辯論協(xié)會(huì)舉辦的演講比賽的半決賽的。

　　On the contrary, it became pleasant and meaningful. Later, I also got a certificate of Semi-Finalist in the speech contest organized by the National Speech and Debate As sociation.

　　將來，我會(huì)繼續(xù)探索一些未知的領(lǐng)域，以持續(xù)激發(fā)我的潛能。鑒于這段難忘的經(jīng)歷，我堅(jiān)信我比我相信的更勇敢，比我看起來的更聰明，比我想象的更堅(jiān)強(qiáng)。

　　In the future, I will continue to explore some other unknown areas and proceed to stimulate my potential. In light of this memorable experience, I'm firmly convinced that I am braver than I believe, smarter than I seem, and stronger than I think.
