ABOUT US
亞加達(dá)國(guó)際預(yù)科(AIC)是一所獲得世界文 憑組織(IBO)、英國(guó)劍橋考試局(Cambridge IGCSE)及美國(guó)中部教育聯(lián)盟(MSA- CESS)認(rèn)證的國(guó)際學(xué)校,開(kāi)設(shè)的課程包括IBDP及IGCSE課程。
Alcanta International College (AIC) is an IB World School and Cambridge IGCSE International School accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA-CESS).

AIC is committed to building a student-centered learner community by providing international curriculums and developing learning skills, AIC students will have the academic foundation and abilities to enter the world's top universities.

AIC can enroll Chinese and international students to its programs of study. About 20% of our students come from 17 different countries. Living with local students in the same dorms and being in the same classrooms helps foreign students learn Chinese and appreciate the culture first-hand.

AIC has a large number of foreign staff. Our faculty team is characterized by international diversity and specialization, they are from different countries with different culture and beliefs. Taking students as the core to build a professional preparatory team of teachers. Teachers in the AIC are highly experienced and professional in IB, IBO is an IB community that cultivates professional trainers, some of them are even members of the IBO, IB examiners and IB teacher officials.
Having students and teachers from many different countries also plays a positive role in cultivating Chinese students' international vision. It, in particulars, gives the Chinese students the experience of living with international students, an essential experience for when they move on to study their undergraduate programs outside of China.

CURRICULUM
預(yù)備課程 Foundation Years
預(yù)備課程旨在為學(xué)生在亞加達(dá)國(guó)際預(yù)科的高中階段學(xué)習(xí)做好準(zhǔn)備。學(xué)生將不僅專注于學(xué)科內(nèi)容和語(yǔ)言發(fā)展,還將學(xué)習(xí)為IGCSE或AIC文 憑(由美國(guó)中部教育聯(lián)盟認(rèn)證)準(zhǔn)備的重要技能。
Foundation Years is designed and delivered to prepare students for their high school studies at AIC. Student will focus on not only subject content and language development but also learn important skills to be prepared for the IGCSE program or the AIC Diploma (accredited by the Middle States Association of College and Schools).
國(guó)際普通中等教育證課程 IGCSE

The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is offered as a bridge between Foundation Years, and the IBDP. They are widely recognized by universities across the world. At AIC, we provided Cambridge IGCSE curriculum to instil in our students attitudes, life skills and academic skills to ensure success in their next level of study. By studying the Cambridge IGCSE students become confident, responsible, reflective, innovative and engaged. Students choose a total of seven subjects (with 7-11 credits in total) to receive the prestigious International Cambridge Education (ICE) diploma. Most examinations happen at the end of Grade 10, in the month of May and June.

All students must do choose one subject from each group, plus PE and another subject from group 2, 3, 4 or 5.
IB文 憑課程 IB Diploma Program

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) is a rigorous pre-university program for high school students, recognized by universities all around the world. Successful IBDP students can earn extra university credits. The Diploma Program curriculum is comprised of six subject groups and the DP core: Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS), and the Extended Essay.

At AIC, we have a wide range of activities that students can participate in that follow the three major strands of CAS: Creativity, Activity and Service.

Academic competitions provide students with a platform to improve their creativity, academic ability, organizational ability, and ability to withstand pressure. By participating in top competitions in China and aboard, students can hone their abilities for further studies.

Scholarships are awarded to students based on their entrance exam scores, school performances, IBDP/IGCSE exam results and university application results.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Make an appointment to visit AIC:
提交填寫(xiě)完整的入學(xué)申請(qǐng)表及申請(qǐng)費(fèi)
Submit a completed application form and application fee;
參加入學(xué)考試,包括筆試(數(shù)學(xué)、英語(yǔ))
和英語(yǔ)面試
Take the entrance exam in Mathematics and English, and an interview (in English);
學(xué)校將于考試后兩周內(nèi)以電子郵件和電話形式告知申請(qǐng)人錄取情況,被錄取的學(xué)生需要在一周內(nèi)支付費(fèi)用以保留入學(xué)資格。
School will inform applicants of the admission outcome within two weeks, applicants are informed via email and a phone call, and admitted students need to pay deposit within one week to retain their entrance qualification.
