“我的家在中國(guó)”廣州暨大港澳子弟學(xué)校9月1日開(kāi)學(xué)典禮，350多名新生進(jìn)校正式開(kāi)課

　　“My Hometown is China”- Affiliated School of Jinan University for Hong Kong & Macao Students officially start on 1st Sep, more than 350 students attended the opening ceremony.

　　學(xué)校特別邀請(qǐng)了暨南大學(xué)副校長(zhǎng)王兵，中國(guó)科學(xué)院院士、暨南大學(xué)粵港澳中樞神經(jīng)再生研究院院長(zhǎng)、美國(guó)發(fā)明家學(xué)會(huì)院士以及學(xué)?？傤檰?wèn)蘇國(guó)輝先生，與總校長(zhǎng)鄭景亮、執(zhí)行校長(zhǎng)封巖以及全校教職工和新同學(xué)，共同見(jiàn)證了學(xué)校開(kāi)學(xué)日。

　　The school specially invited Professor Wang Bing, Vice President of Jinan University and Dr.So Kwok-Fai, Academician of CAS(Chinese Academy of Sciences), Head of GHM Institute of CNS Regeneration of Jinan University, NAI(National Academy of Inventors) Fellow and Chief consultant of ASJ as the guests of honor. Chief Principal Cheng King Leung, Executive Principal Jessica Feng, all teachers and students attended and witnessed the first school day.

　　我的家在中國(guó)“My hometown is China”

　　據(jù)悉，這次開(kāi)學(xué)日的主題為“我的家在中國(guó)”，寓意同學(xué)們?cè)趶V州暨大港澳子弟學(xué)校收獲成長(zhǎng)，在中國(guó)這片土地感受中華文化的魅力，成為具有國(guó)際視野的青少年。“我的家在中國(guó)”寄語(yǔ)了學(xué)校對(duì)學(xué)生的祝福，同學(xué)們?cè)谥腥A這片土地、這個(gè)校園里生活和學(xué)習(xí)，這里就是他們的一個(gè)家，承載著孩子們的童年與少年時(shí)代的夢(mèng)想。

　　The theme of the first school day is “My hometown is China”, expecting students can achieve growth in ASJ, to feel the charisma of the Chinese Culture in the land of China and become youngsters with international perspective. “My hometown is China” indicated the blessing to students from the school, students live on the land of China, live and study on this campus and this is like a home to them, carrying dreams of their childhood.

　　Hey, you there! We met on the 1st of September.

　　你沒(méi)有怯懦，自信大方牽起新同學(xué)的手，積極融入全新、也舒適溫暖的環(huán)境，父母和老師都為你驕傲。

　　You were so brave, held hands with new classmates confidently and generously. You tried your best to fit in the new, comfortable and warm environment, your parents and teachers were all proud of you.

　　在升旗儀式上，由總校長(zhǎng)鄭景亮先生、執(zhí)行校長(zhǎng)封巖女士分別擔(dān)任升旗、護(hù)旗手，五星紅旗在雄壯的國(guó)歌聲中冉冉升起。

　　During the flag raising ceremony, Chief Principal Cheng King Leung is the flag raising person and Executive Principal Jessica Feng is the flag protector. The Chinese National Flag raised beautifully amid the majestic national anthem.

　　廣州暨大港澳子弟學(xué)校總校長(zhǎng)鄭景亮先生在開(kāi)學(xué)典禮上致辭，與同學(xué)們分享“如何成為一個(gè)成功的學(xué)習(xí)者”，并預(yù)告了開(kāi)學(xué)后第一個(gè)月的學(xué)習(xí)主題將延續(xù)開(kāi)學(xué)典禮的主題“我的家在中國(guó)”，讓同學(xué)更了解自己的國(guó)民身份，同時(shí)也會(huì)讓同學(xué)去籌備一系列十一國(guó)慶活動(dòng)。

　　Mr. Cheng King Leung, Chief Principal of ASJ shared “How to be a successful learner” in his speech with all students in the opening ceremony and announced that the theme of study for the first month will be “My hometown is China”. This is aimed at helping students to understand their national identity, they will also be invited to prepare for a series of activities for the National Day on 1st Oct.

　　昂首挺胸，宣讀學(xué)生公約，許下“尊師重道，學(xué)以潤(rùn)身”的諾言。

　　You stood tall and read out the‘student convention' , promise to honour the teacher and respect his teaching, and become a better self.

　　開(kāi)學(xué)典禮活動(dòng)現(xiàn)場(chǎng)，16位同學(xué)表演了詩(shī)歌朗誦《香江贊》，清朗堅(jiān)定的童聲伴隨旋律優(yōu)美的琴聲，見(jiàn)證了開(kāi)學(xué)日的正式到來(lái)。

　　At the opening ceremony, 16 students perform the poetry recital A Tribute to Hong Kong. The clear and firm voice of the children and beautiful sound of the piano witness the official start of the school term.

　　感謝你的出現(xiàn)，見(jiàn)證了今天這特別的儀式。今天不單是開(kāi)學(xué)典禮，更是學(xué)校的一個(gè)重要里程碑。

　　Thank you for showing up to witness this special ceremony. It was not only an opening ceremony, but also an important milestone for ASJ.
